Our panel included the acquisitions editor for U.S. editor at the University of North Carolina Press, a content developer at the textbook company Wadsworth/Cengage in Boston, a freshly minted editorial assistant at W.W. Norton in New York City, and an alumnus of ours working at a faith-based non-profit publisher in Anaheim. They work relies on heavily on all the things you are currently learning, and most of them combine it with a good amount of new technology, travel, and professional skills that range from public speaking and presentations to project management.
