Welcome to the CSUF History Department's Careers in History Webinar - Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure 

Once again, our history alumni provided the core of the panel: One of our recent M.A.s talked about his work for a Northern California brewer – a job he got thanks to his thesis on California’s microbreweries. Another M.A. graduate from last year shared her experiences of building an archive and sesquicentennial celebration for a Northern California cider company, and one of our B.A.s talked about the way his history degree has come to full use in his work for a major travel company. If that wasn’t already good enough – we were luck enough to get an HR professional from the Disney Corporation to join us and share her advice on how to build a career in the field with a history degree. If you are looking for some unusual stories and unexpected career opportunities for historians, this is the one to listen to.
