Welcome to the CSUF History Department's Careers in History Webinar - Higher Ed Administration

  

The term “Higher Ed Administration” may sound uninviting and even somewhat bland, but our panelists - from our very own Greg Saks and Vijay Pendakur, to our alumna Maria Hernandez Figueroa, to Peggy Burke joining from the Midwest at very late hours - lit up the room (virtually) with descriptions of their work, the meaning of history in their careers, and advice for participants that will prove priceless in their own job search. Whether you are excited about working for social justice, care about gender equality, believe in broader access to higher education, or love the energy and intellectual vitality of campus life, our panelists can tell you how to make your career in higher education administration. And oh, how useful a history degree can be. More importantly, our panelists are experts in student affairs and are bursting with advice on how to make your time on campus count toward a meaningful career NOW.
